The damage in the spinal cord can result in Spinal Cord Injury. It can often lead to permanent loss of sensation, strength, and function below the site of injury. The spinal cord is an important bundle of nerves that runs from the bottom base of the brain from all the way to the person’s back.
Mainly two types of spinal cord injuries
The patient who is having complete injury will be completely paralyzed below the site of injury. It means they will notice a permanent loss of sensation, touch, pain, pressure, and even temperature.
The patient who is having an incomplete injury will face a minor loss of sensation and movement below the site of damage. It means that it is only a particle injury.
