The Medical Rehabilitation Centre (MRC), Kolkata, proudly hosted the 25th MRC Summit on 21st December 2025, commencing from 11:30 AM onwards at Hotel Stadel, Kolkata. Founded by Dr. M. M. Ghatak, MRC has been a trailblazer in India’s rehabilitation landscape. At a time when rehabilitation was largely limited to addiction management, Dr. Ghatak envisioned a broader, more inclusive model of care. Under his leadership, MRC expanded rehabilitation services to address neurological, spinal, orthopedic, rheumatological, and developmental conditions, redefining standards of patient-centered and evidence-based rehabilitation.Over the past 25 years, MRC has emerged as one of India’s leading non-government rehabilitation institutes, helping countless bedridden patients regain mobility, independence, and dignity.
The 25th MRC Summit 2025 was themed “Re-establishing the Future with Virtual & Evidence-Based Rehabilitation,” reflecting MRC’s commitment to blending clinical excellence with modern technology.
